Chapter 14
The Weaver's Gambit
The Weaver of Torment throws its full power against Lycar, attempting to corrupt his resolve with visions of eternal damnation and despair.

“You cannot escape, Lycar,” a voice, ancient and sibilant, slithered through the chaos. It was the Weaver, its form shifting and coalescing in the periphery of my vision – a being of shadow and screaming faces, a tapestry of agony. “Your sin is etched into your soul, a stain that time cannot wash away.”
