Before him, a stark silhouette against the bruised twilight sky, stood King Winter, his presence a chilling counterpoint to Ignis’s volatile display. The fields between them, once fertile and vibrant, were now a testament to the war’s brutal passage, scarred by countless skirmishes, a grim tapestry woven with ash and despair.

"You persist, Winter," Ignis spat, his voice a low growl, laced with the hiss of escaping steam. "Still clinging to your foolish ideals of peace while the world burns." His gaze, sharp and predatory, swept over the desolate landscape. "Look around you, old man. This is the price of your indecision. This is the consequence of your weakness."

King Winter’s expression remained unreadable, a stoic mask carved from ice. His voice, when he spoke, was a calm, deep resonance, carrying the weight of ages. "Ambition untempered by wisdom leads only to ruin, Ignis. You have seen the cost. Yet you press on, blinded by a hunger that will consume you and all you touch." He gestured with a gauntleted hand, not in threat, but in a plea that had long since lost its efficacy. "The time for conquest is past. The time for rebuilding is upon us, if you would only see it."
