Seraphina Kaelindra’s ethereal, starlit emblem. Zaryntha’s sharp, decisive slash. Each one represented a victory, a piece of the colossal mosaic he was assembling.
But the table also bore its share of blanks, starkly empty spaces that felt like gaping wounds. Kyranth, who had finally agreed to a meeting, now simmered in a state of undecided contemplation, his pride a formidable barrier. The new leader of the Celestine Concord remained utterly silent, a void of unanswered pleas. And then there was Vaeloria Veyndar.
