Princess Phoenix’s heart ached with a tenderness that was both familiar and, in this moment, amplified. The laughter of children chasing pigeons, the jovial banter of merchants hawking their wares, the contented hum of a village at peace – it was the symphony of her kingdom, a melody she’d always taken for granted.
