Being bullied was an everyday occurrence and her mother Rosetta Pamela silverton hated her enough to send her out in the cold for breaking a plate even though she wasn't even supposed to be near the dishes so When Ophelia Henrietta Silverton, daughter of Marquess Edward Hamilton Silverton heard she was being married off to the seventh prince, his highness , prince Ashvin Malcom Langley she knew better than too protest because she had always been the outcast of her household being the last child among five daughters Gladys, Adelia, Eudora and cordelia. Two of her sisters had been married of too dukes and among the rest she was the worse. She had no skill or talent and she wasn't the blonde blue eyed beauty that was her sisters but a brunette with big honey colored eyes.the prince she was to marry was the seventh son of his majesty, king Lucian draven Langley. He was not in line of the throne and would probably be killed when his elder brothers start a fight for the throne but she couldn't quite figure out why her father would marry her off to him. Then she heard him telling the woman she thought was her mother that he was finally getting rid of the mistake that was her. Turns out the was an illegitimate child from her father's affair. The prince was a tall, dark haired well built man with blue eyes and he wasn't really interested in a wife but his father had said him marrying the Marquess daughter would do him good when the war came and so he agreed. After their marriage, Ophelia hardly saw her husband and since the day of their wedding he'd never stepped foot into her room, the few times she saw him she realized she had fallen for him and hopes he would also her. There where occasion she'd talked to him but he was so stif and awkward like he didn't want too be near her.. The prince stayed away because he realized soon that she was the same girl he'd fallen in love with when he was 16, she'd come to the palace with her father and wandered towards the peach blossom garden and he felt trapped in those honey colored eyes. Due to the war approaching, he stayed away from her so he's brothers would think he had no feelings for her and so leave her out of the war but Ophelia thought he wasn't interested in her and so she decided to see him as only her husband and nothing else. After the kings death, the war started with the brothers fighting over the throne. People fled the country of vadronia as it was left in ruin by the princes . Ophelia is shocked by his act and realized she had been wrong and he did loved her. Luckily, prince reed was killed by prince ashvins right hand man , Roderick and from that moment the prince stopped pretending he didn't love her and instead showed her how much he could love her . Also alot of intimate events occurred even while their on the run from the last prince but eventually he was killed by Ashvin and Ashvin became king of vadronia. Table of contents

  1. 1The Shattered PorcelainOphelia Henrietta Silverton endures another day of torment, the taunts of her sisters a constant drone. A simple task, forbidden to her, ends with a broken plate. Her mother, Rosetta Pamela, her face a mask of cold fury, banishes Ophelia to the harsh winter night, a familiar punishment for a child deemed a mistake. Marquess Edward Hamilton Silverton, her father, barely registers her presence, his gaze fixed on his legitimate daughters, solidifying Ophelia's status as an unwanted outcast in her own home.
  2. 2A Royal DecreeThe air in the Silverton household crackles with an unusual tension. Ophelia, accustomed to being invisible, is summoned. Her father, with a chilling detachment, announces her betrothal to Prince Ashvin Malcom Langley, the seventh son of King Lucian Draven Langley. Ophelia's heart sinks. She knows her sisters are destined for powerful dukes, while she, plain and untalented, is a pawn. The prince's low standing on the succession list offers little comfort, only deepening the mystery of why her father would agree to such a match.
  3. 3The Prince's Strategic AlliancePrince Ashvin Malcom Langley agrees to the marriage proposal from Marquess Silverton. His father, King Lucian, has impressed upon him the strategic advantage of this union in the face of impending war. Ashvin, a man of quiet strength and sharp intellect, sees the political expediency. Unbeknownst to him, the bride-to-be is the same young woman who, years ago, in a sun-drenched peach blossom garden, had captivated him with her honey-colored eyes. He remains unaware of her identity, seeing only a political necessity.
  4. 4A Father's Cruel ConfessionSeeking solace or perhaps just an explanation for her impending fate, Ophelia lingers near the drawing-room. She overhears a conversation between her father and Rosetta Pamela. The words, sharp and cold, pierce her already fragile heart. Marquess Silverton speaks of 'getting rid of the mistake,' referring to Ophelia. The revelation confirms her deepest fears: she is not merely an unwanted child, but an illegitimate burden, a secret to be conveniently shed through marriage.
  5. 5The Gilded IsolationOphelia arrives at the royal palace, a stark contrast to her previous life, yet her isolation persists. Prince Ashvin, her new husband, is a phantom. He never enters her chambers, and their encounters are brief, formal. Ophelia, despite the coldness, finds herself drawn to his reserved demeanor, a flicker of hope igniting within her. She yearns for connection, for a sign that he might see beyond her perceived flaws, but his constant absence fuels her insecurity.
  6. 6The Memory of Peach BlossomsPrince Ashvin grapples with his conscience. He deliberately avoids Ophelia, his heart a battlefield of duty and burgeoning affection. The image of a young Ophelia, lost in the palace's peach blossom garden years ago, her honey eyes wide with innocent curiosity, haunts his thoughts. He remembers the instant his heart was ensnared. Now, with war on the horizon, he believes his distance is the only way to shield her from the brutal machinations of his family.
  7. 7A Calculated IndifferenceTo further his protective strategy, Ashvin intensifies his facade of indifference. He ensures his interactions with Ophelia are minimal and strictly formal, even in public. He orchestrates a public display of disinterest, hoping his brothers will dismiss her as inconsequential, thereby shielding her from their ruthless ambitions and the inevitable conflict over the throne. This calculated distance, however, weighs heavily on his conscience.
  8. 8The Steel of ResolveOphelia, repeatedly confronted by Ashvin's apparent lack of interest, begins to withdraw emotionally. The fragile hope she harbored for affection withers. She resolves to accept her fate, to view Ashvin purely as her husband and her marriage as a political arrangement. She steels herself against future hurt, preparing to navigate her life within the confines of the palace and the looming shadow of war, her dreams of love now a distant memory.
  9. 9The Crown's TumultThe fragile peace of Vadronia shatters with the death of King Lucian Draven Langley. The ensuing war for the throne is brutal and swift, pitting brother against brother. The kingdom is plunged into chaos and ruin, its cities ravaged, its people forced to flee their homes. Ophelia, caught in the maelstrom, finds her precarious existence threatened by the very conflict Ashvin had tried to shield her from.
  10. 10Flight into DarknessOphelia and her loyal friend Rohesia, desperate to escape the war-torn capital, flee into the treacherous Vladmor forest. Their flight is fraught with peril, the sounds of battle echoing in the distance. Their hope for sanctuary is shattered when they are ambushed. Prince Reed, Ashvin's third brother, a man consumed by a bitter rivalry, seizes them. He recognizes Ophelia as Ashvin's wife, a perfect tool for his dark plan.
  11. 11The Prince's Treacherous LureHeld captive by Prince Reed, Ophelia and Rohesia endure a tense vigil. Reed revels in his power, the anticipation of Ashvin's arrival a cruel delight. He intends to use Ophelia as bait, to lure his brother into a trap and finally eliminate him from the succession. He taunts Ophelia with the knowledge of Ashvin's supposed indifference, fueling her despair and ensuring Ashvin's arrival will be driven by obligation, not love.
  12. 12A Race Against TimeDeep within the Vladmor forest, Ashvin is locked in a desperate struggle for survival, pursued relentlessly by his brother Brad. Just as he gains a momentary advantage, a messenger arrives, bearing dire news: Ophelia has been captured by Prince Reed. The information strikes Ashvin with the force of a physical blow. His carefully constructed facade crumbles, replaced by a primal urgency to protect the woman he secretly loves.
  13. 13The Unspoken VowOphelia, resigned to her fate, believes Ashvin will not come for her, convinced of his indifference. She braces herself for Prince Reed's cruelty, her spirit dimming. However, against all odds, a day later, Ashvin arrives. He doesn't hesitate, his actions speaking louder than any words. He offers himself in exchange for her freedom, a shocking act of self-sacrifice that shatters Ophelia's perception of his feelings.
  14. 14Love's ReckoningAshvin's selfless act ignites a revelation in Ophelia. She realizes the depth of his love, her previous assumptions a painful misunderstanding. As Ashvin's sacrifice shocks Prince Reed, the chaos provides an opening. Roderick, Ashvin's loyal right-hand man, seizes the moment, dispatching Prince Reed. In the aftermath, the pretense between Ashvin and Ophelia dissolves, replaced by the raw, undeniable truth of their love.
  15. 15A King's EmbraceThe war for the throne has ended, and Ashvin has emerged victorious. Now King of Vadronia, he sheds all pretense of indifference. His embrace is warm, his gaze filled with adoration for Ophelia. Yet, their newfound peace is fragile. They are still fugitives from the last of Ashvin's ambitious brothers. Amidst their passionate reunion and the ongoing threat, their love deepens, a beacon of hope in the war-torn kingdom.
  16. 16The Last Brother's DefeatThe final remaining brother, a formidable threat to Ashvin's reign, confronts him. The ensuing battle is fierce, a culmination of years of rivalry and bloodshed. Ashvin, fighting with the strength of a man protecting his kingdom and his love, ultimately triumphs. The last obstacle to peace is removed, and Vadronia, though scarred, can finally begin to heal under the rule of its new King.
  17. 17A Year of WhispersA year has passed since Ashvin claimed the throne. Vadronia is slowly recovering, and Ophelia, now Queen, is radiant and with child. Her sisters, consumed by a corrosive jealousy of her elevated status, can no longer bear to see her happy. Their resentment festers, and they begin to conspire, their malice fueled by years of perceived slights and Ophelia's unexpected rise to power.
  18. 18The Queen's True WorthThe sisters' plot unfolds as one of them spreads a venomous rumor: Ophelia is the daughter of a slave, unfit to be queen. The court is thrown into turmoil. But Ashvin stands firm, his love and respect for Ophelia unwavering. He silences the slander with a powerful decree, abolishing slavery and declaring all people equal. This act solidifies Ophelia's position, earning her the deep reverence of her people.
  19. 19A Royal ProgenyThe Queen's labor is long but ultimately successful. Ophelia gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, named Henrietta Adele in honor of her mother, followed by a robust baby boy, Henry Aldean. Their arrival signifies a new dawn for Vadronia, a testament to the enduring love of their parents and a promise of future prosperity. The royal family is complete, their joy a stark contrast to the kingdom's past suffering.

Their reign is marked by peace and prosperity, a direct result of their shared strength and unwavering devotion. The kingdom flourishes, its people thriving under their just and loving governance, a testament to a love story that began with a broken plate and an unexpected heart.
