The ring felt impossibly heavy on my finger, a celestial weight that seemed to anchor me to a future I still struggled to fully grasp. Kenji had asked me to be his wife under a sky ablaze with fireworks, a dazzling spectacle that mirrored the turmoil and brilliance erupting within my own heart. He’d knelt, not on one knee, but with a grace that suggested a deep respect, his eyes, those warm pools of obsidian, reflecting the exploding colors above. “Olivia,” he’d said, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through me, “will you be my wife?”

Kenji slid the ring onto my finger, a perfect band of platinum cradling a stone that shimmered with an inner fire. It was simple, elegant, and breathtakingly beautiful. He laced his fingers through mine, his touch sending a jolt of warmth through my veins. “You are my world, Olivia,” he murmured, his thumb tracing circles on my skin. “My everything.”
