The very air in the chamber hummed, a low thrum that vibrated not just in Elara’s eardrums but in her very bones. The walls, which had moments before seemed solid if unsettlingly angled, began to shimmer. Not with light, but with an impossibly intricate dance of lines and forms. Triangles folded into squares, squares unfolded into pentagons, and the entire structure seemed to breathe a geometric life. Elara’s heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic rhythm against the steady pulse of the labyrinth. She clutched the worn parchment that Master Alaric had given her, its cryptic equations suddenly feeling less like a guide and more like a prelude to something far grander and more terrifying.

A sphere, perfectly rendered, pulsed with an internal light, its surface rippling with polygons that appeared and vanished in a blink. From it, slender, sharp lines extended, forming a network of interconnected planes and angles that seemed to defy gravity. It was beautiful, terrifying, and utterly alien.

“You have come,” a voice echoed, not from a mouth, but from everywhere at once, a melodious chorus of perfect pitches. It was the sound of angles meeting, of lines intersecting, of perfect symmetry. “You seek to mend what is fractured. To understand what is broken.”
