This new part of the labyrinth was unlike anything she had encountered. It wasn't a series of interconnected cubes anymore, but a vast, sloping ascent. Imagine, she thought, a colossal pyramid, its sides not built of stone, but of a thousand shimmering, interlocking triangles that rose towards an unseen peak.
