Episode 18
Then Claire entered look that Eli looked at bright then told Eli you cannot come through wedding only the after party then looks at bright whisper something in bright's ear making him stop go through a couple of emotions then go to happy with a little bit of redines face
Claire’s entrance was a masterclass in controlled chaos. She swept in, a vision in soft lavender, her gaze flicking from Eli’s defiant stance to Bright’s simmering fury. For a beat, the air crackled with unspoken accusations and simmering resentment. Then, her eyes settled on Eli, and a breath of calm seemed to emanate from her. “Eli,” she said, her voice surprisingly steady, though a tremor ran beneath the surface. “You can’t come to the wedding.”
Eli’s jaw tightened. The words, though expected, landed like a physical blow. He’d braced himself for it, yet the finality of it still stung. He opened his mouth to retort, to argue, to plead, but Claire’s gaze shifted to Bright. She stepped closer to her fiancé, a subtle intimacy in her posture, and murmured something low and indistinct into his ear.
Bright, who had been vibrating with barely suppressed rage, froze. His eyes widened, then narrowed, a cascade of emotions flickering across his face – disbelief, confusion, a hint of panic, then something akin to reluctant acceptance. A faint blush crept up his neck, tingeing his cheeks with a delicate rose. He looked at Eli, then back at Claire, a strange, almost bewildered expression settling on his features. He seemed to be wrestling with an invisible opponent, the fight draining out of him, replaced by a dawning, albeit flustered, happiness. Claire, with a knowing smile, then turned back to Eli, her expression unreadable. "But," she added, her voice carrying clearly now, "you are most definitely invited to the after-party."
