A Sea of Red Triangles
They arrive. A circle of red triangles, each with Emily's plush and candles, fills the space. The air is thick with a gentle reverence, and Lilly begins her keen observation.
The air in the park, usually alive with the boisterous shouts of children and the rustle of leaves, was hushed, imbued with a solemnity that Lilly had never before encountered. Even the birds seemed to sing with a softer, more melodic tone, as if in deference to the occasion. Her mother’s hand, usually firm and reassuring, felt a little tight around Lilly’s own as they stepped through the wrought-iron gates. It was a Saturday, a day for games and laughter, but today, the park held a different kind of magic, a quiet, contemplative enchantment.
Lilly’s heart beat a little faster, a flutter of anticipation mixed with a strange, almost reverent nervousness. She had imagined this moment countless times, her mind a whirlwind of theories and possibilities. What would it be like? Would it be sad? Would it be… magical? She scanned the expanse of green before them, her sharp eyes searching for any clue, any sign that would lead her to the heart of the Phantaisa Culture.
