Princess Astra took a deep breath, the recycled air of the spaceship tasting like stale moon cheese. Behind her, the rickety vessel, affectionately (and ironically) named "The Stardust Serenity," rattled and groaned like an ancient space whale with indigestion. Ahead, the Mischievous Comet, a swirling ball of iridescent mischief, pulsed with stolen starlight, its glow a taunting beacon. Gleep, crammed into the pilot’s seat with a scowl that could curdle nebula milk, grumbled, "Are you sure about this, cadet? That thing looks like it’s going to sneeze us into a black hole."

It was a jaunty, nonsensical melody, the kind that made even the sternest gravity-defying jellybeans wiggle their wobbly bits. She imagined it as a series of tiny, cosmic giggles, designed to infiltrate the comet's very core.
