Remembering her hidden talent, Astra pulls out a cosmic kazoo. She prepares to unleash her unique, and rather silly, secret weapon against the comet.

Princess Astra, clad in her scruffy space cadet uniform, felt a familiar flutter of something akin to panic, but it was quickly replaced by a surge of audacious hope. The Mischievous Comet, a shimmering, swirling vortex of pure chaos, was right there, practically twinkling with stolen starlight. It pulsed ominously, its greedy tendrils reaching out to snag even more of the precious luminescence that kept Astra’s kingdom aglow. Gleep, her perpetually scowling alien co-pilot, was wrestling with a recalcitrant lever on the ship’s console, muttering a string of Gleep-words that sounded suspiciously like a flock of angry space geese.

“Are you sure about this, cadet?” Gleep grumbled, his antennae twitching with exasperation. “This comet is a menace. It’s eaten more starlight than a black hole eats Tuesdays. And you want to… what? Offer it a snack?”

Astra’s chin lifted, a spark of defiance in her usually bored eyes. “Not a snack, Gleep. A… distraction. A very, very loud and silly distraction.” She patted her utility belt, her fingers brushing against a slightly lumpy pouch. A grin, wide and a little mischievous, spread across her face. This was it. The moment all those hours spent in the royal gardens, pretending to be a wandering minstrel, would finally pay off. Forget diplomatic banquets and dust-bunny inspections; this was the real royal duty.
