The Obsidian Hand, once a monolithic force of calculated terror, was now a fractured mess. He hadn't destroyed them with a mighty blow, no grand heroic charge. Instead, he had simply… inconvenienced them.

A strategically placed loose floorboard here, a suddenly malfunctioning security camera there, a perfectly timed gust of wind that scattered crucial documents. Small things, insignificant on their own, but strung together, they had created a symphony of disruption. Their meticulous plans had unraveled like cheap thread, their carefully orchestrated operations morphing into a farce. Elara Vance, the icy architect of their dominion, would be furious. Liam felt a faint, almost imperceptible tremor of satisfaction, quickly followed by a wave of profound weariness.

He sat on an overturned crate, the rough wood chafing through his worn trousers. His hands, calloused from a life he barely remembered, rested on his knees. He was Liam. That much he knew. He had a talent, "Minor Inconvenience," which, as it turned out, was anything but minor. It was a cosmic prankster, a whisper in the ear of chance, a subtle nudge that sent dominoes tumbling in ways no one could predict. And he had used it, not to conquer, but to dismantle.
