Dust motes danced in the slivers of moonlight that pierced the grimy skylights, illuminating a scene of hushed, tense activity. Figures clad in the stark black uniforms of the Obsidian Hand moved with practiced efficiency, their movements precise and economical. They were a well-oiled machine, their purpose clear: to secure the shipment, a collection of archaic texts and peculiar crystalline shards, before any unwanted attention could be drawn.

Liam watched from the shadows of a skeletal catwalk, his heart a steady drum against his ribs. He wasn't a fighter, not in the way these men were. His talent, "Minor Inconvenience," had always felt like a cruel joke, a cosmic whisper of a power too insignificant to be truly useful. Yet, here he was, orchestrating a symphony of small disruptions, each a carefully placed stone in the path of this well-oiled machine.
