Chapter 8
Fragments of a Forgotten Self
As Elara gets closer to the Lumina, fragments of her past begin to surface. Visions of the sea, feelings of belonging, and a sense of deep connection to the ocean start to piece together her identity.

A vision, fleeting and indistinct, swam behind her eyelids: a shimmer of iridescent scales, a cascade of light, a feeling of pure joy. It was tied to the Lumina, she knew it. The creature whose legend Marina had shared, the source of this magical perfume.
