Chapter 15
A Shocking Reunion
Mia pushes the door open and finds Sophie, frail and disoriented, huddled in a dark room. The years of captivity are evident, but recognition sparks in Sophie's eyes.

A small, fragile silhouette against the rough-hewn stone wall.
It was Sophie.
