Chapter 9
Crystal Lizard's Chaos
Crystal Lizard, still in his own world, starts rearranging Andy's toys, creating a confusing maze. His actions, though not malicious, further hinder Andy's escape and confuse Snakey, who gets tangled in a yo-yo string.
Crystal Lizard, bless his bubbly heart, was having the time of his life. While Pinky and Snakey were busy with their sinister plans of world domination (or at least, Andy's bedroom domination), Crystal Lizard had decided to redecorate. Andy’s meticulously arranged collection of stuffed animals was suddenly being piled into precarious towers. Her building blocks, usually stacked neatly for imaginative castles, were now scattered across the floor, forming a bizarre, multi-colored obstacle course.
“Ooh, a pink bear needs to go on top of the purple dinosaur!” Crystal Lizard chirped, his voice echoing with that familiar, slightly tinny cartoon resonance. He’d somehow managed to stack a fluffy unicorn on top of a rather grumpy-looking teddy bear, which in turn was perched precariously on a pile of plastic bricks. Andy watched him, her heart sinking a little. This wasn’t part of the plan. She’d been trying to sneak towards the door, hoping for a quick escape, but Crystal Lizard’s enthusiastic re-arranging had effectively blocked her path.
“Crystal Lizard, no! Please stop!” Andy pleaded, her voice tight with a mixture of frustration and fear. Her favorite teddy bear, Bartholomew, was now teetering on the very edge of a block tower, looking like he was about to take a nosedive into a sea of stray LEGO bricks.
