Andy sat on her bed, the comforting glow of her bedside lamp casting a warm circle around her. The silence in her room, usually a welcome friend after a night of cartoon adventures, felt different now. It wasn't just quiet; it was a quiet that held its breath, waiting. Her eyes drifted towards the television screen, now a blank, dark rectangle. It was the same screen that, just hours ago, had been a portal to a world of vibrant colors and cheerful songs, a world that had suddenly, terrifyingly, spilled out into her own.

She hugged her knees to her chest, a shiver tracing its way down her spine. Pinky and Snakey. But the smile faded as quickly as it appeared. It was funny, in a way, how something so terrifying could also be… well, still a little bit amazing. She had lived through an episode of "Pinkys the Pink Square." Not just watched it, but lived it.
