The peacock-unicorn stepped forward and touched her forehead with its horn. Not to crown her. To bless her. In that moment Hera understood. In Olympus, a crown means you rule. In Vicuro, a crown means you are responsible for something beautiful. She stayed three days and three nights, braiding the peacock feathers, listening to the jewel unicorn breathe.
