The rainbow, a promise painted across the bruised sky, had been Lily’s faithful companion. Each arc, a gentle hand guiding her through the lingering dampness of the storm. She flew with a newfound courage, her little light, once so shy, now pulsed with a determined rhythm. The scent of wet earth and crushed leaves filled the air, a symphony of the world waking up after its tempestuous slumber.
