Chapter 11
The Case of the Vanishing Cookies
Lily draws a tiny baker who makes delicious cookies, but they vanish as soon as they're eaten. A fun, fleeting treat for her friends.

With a gentle nudge of her pencil, Lily coaxed the drawing to life. A tiny puff of shimmering dust, smelling faintly of vanilla, rose from the notebook, and there, standing on Lily’s desk, was the miniature baker, whisk in hand.
“Bonjour, mademoiselle!” chirped the baker, his voice like the tinkling of tiny bells. He bowed with a flourish, his hat nearly toppling over. “I am Chef Antoine, at your service! Ready to whip up some culinary delights!”
