Chapter 13
The Royal Sleepover
The Royal Sleepover proceeds as planned, with everyone, including the King, sleeping soundly. The kingdom rejoices, the grumpiness vanishes, and the air is filled with contented snores.
The Royal Sleepover descended upon the kingdom like a warm, fuzzy blanket woven from pure contentment. King Bartholomew, looking remarkably less like a thundercloud and more like a benevolent, well-rested monarch, strode into the dining hall. His usual morning frown had been replaced by a gentle, almost surprised, smile. He’d slept, and not just slept, but *slept*. Deep, dreamless, glorious sleep. The kind of sleep that made one feel ready to conquer not just the day, but possibly the entire continent.
