What transpired between Onyi and Simon his tenant did not go down well with Onyi. He went straight to the police station. The police took his report and directed them to DPO in charge of the police station. Meanwhile, Chizzy had already gotten wind of what had happened and panicked. She knew she had to cover up the truth from her sister, Angel, who was a member of the Nigeria secret security DSS. She called Angel and informed her that there was a misunderstanding between Onyi and Simon, and Onyi had reported it to the police. As the Oracle of the family, Chizzy was listened to. So she immediately got to work and contacted her colleagues in the DSS. She made some calls, and before Onyi knew it, a white bus with people suspected to be the Nigeria secret security was stationed on his street. He could see the white bus with armed men parked in front of his house. They asked for his name, and when he confirmed it, they forced him into the bus. There were nine people inside, all armed with automatic guns. They drove him to their office and started interrogating him. Onyi tried to explain what had happened, but it seemed like no one was listening to him. They were already making arrangements to detain him when a miracle happened. Onyi managed to escape from their office and ran as fast as he could. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he had to get away from those armed men. He eventually found his way to Warri, a city far away from his home. He was still in shock and couldn't believe what had happened. He called Chizzy and told her to pack her things and leave his house immediately. He couldn't believe she had gone to such lengths to cover up her infidelity. Onyi knew that there was no way he could continue living with her after this betrayal. Chizzy, realizing the gravity of the situation, packed her bags and left for her father's house. Onyi was heartbroken, but he knew that it was for the best. He couldn't continue living in a toxic and unfaithful relationship. From that day on, Onyi learned to trust his instincts and never turn a blind eye to any suspicious behavior. He also learned that sometimes, it's better to walk away from a relationship than to keep holding onto something that was no longer worth fighting for.
