## Chapter Five: Infidelity

After the birth of their fifth child, Onyi’s life took yet another difficult turn. By then, the weight of marriage had already become heavy enough, but distance made it even harder. He had left Port Harcourt and moved to Warri, hoping to find a better footing for work and life. Unfortunately, the new company was not any better than the first. It brought its own struggles, its own pressure, and its own distance from home.

That distance created room for suspicion, and suspicion slowly grew into pain.
