The name itself was a whisper, a rumour passed between terrified resistance cells, a beacon of dangerous hope for those who had none left.
Xylar was a tapestry of shifting light and shadow, formless yet undeniably present. Faceless, yet Fabian felt an intense gaze upon him, dissecting, assessing. It was a gaze that promised nothing, demanded everything. The hum of the cavern seemed to emanate from Xylar, a low thrum that vibrated in Fabian’s bones.
“You seek,” Xylar’s voice was not a sound, but a resonance that filled the space, a chorus of whispers and clicks that translated directly into Fabian’s mind. “You seek, little human.”
