Chapter 12
Confronting the Captor
Ivanka finally faced the alien. It wasn't the monstrous being they expected, but a species in distress. A tense negotiation began, with Ivanka trying to appeal to their reason while protecting her captured family and friends.

The alien’s gaze, however, was fixed on me.
"You are… the one who sought us," a voice echoed, not from its mouth, but from the very air around us, a melodic resonance that seemed to weave itself into my thoughts. It was a voice devoid of emotion, yet oddly compelling.
