Chapter 5: The Secret of the Well
Lily and Grandma reunite in Aviara and meet with the King and Kael. The Oracle reveals a hidden secret about the well and the curse, offering a new hope that requires a journey to the Heart of the Forest.
Lily held Grandma's hand tightly as they walked up the white stone path toward the palace. The sky above them was a soft twilight blue, and the air smelled of jasmine and honey. Kael met them at the great doors, his wings folded neatly behind him. His eyes widened when he saw Grandma.
"Lily, who is this?" he asked, his voice gentle.
"This is my grandmother," Lily said, her voice still thick with tears. "She came through the well to help us."
