Chapter 6
The Celestial Veil
They arrive at a sacred, hidden sanctuary where the Lumina Steed is said to reside. The air crackles with energy, and the boundary between the physical and spectral world thins.
The wind, a constant companion on their arduous journey, seemed to soften its bite as they crested the final ridge. The sanctuary was a place of profound stillness, yet alive with a vibrant, almost palpable luminescence. Jagged ice formations, sculpted by millennia of wind and frost, glowed with an inner light, casting ethereal shadows that danced and shifted. In the center of the clearing, a pool of water, impossibly clear, reflected the blazing aurora above, creating a perfect, mirrored world. There were no structures, no signs of habitation, only the raw, untamed beauty of Aethelgard’s most sacred heart.
