A World Unveiled

The beam of Kelly’s flashlight, a thin, wavering finger of light in the oppressive dark, danced across the rough-hewn walls. It was a small comfort, a defiant spark against the encroaching blackness that had swallowed their world whole. Behind her, the soft padding of five sets of paws echoed, a symphony of anxious whispers and the occasional nervous sniff.
