The hum started subtly, a whisper against the silence of the void that Deagan had grown so accustomed to. It wasn't the familiar thrum of his ship’s engines, nor the gentle sigh of its life support. This was something else entirely, a resonance that seemed to emanate from the very fabric of space around Saturn’s magnificent rings. He’d seen the energy readings spike on his console, a chaotic dance of light and force that defied all known astrophysical phenomena. Now, he felt it. A tremor deep within his bones, a prickling on his skin like a thousand tiny stars igniting.

He guided the ‘Wanderer’ closer, its powerful lights cutting through the ethereal glow of the rings, illuminating the swirling ice and dust. The disruption was more pronounced here, closer to the source. Chunks of ice, usually in their stately orbit, were being flung outward at alarming speeds, creating ephemeral trails of light. It looked like a cosmic dance gone wild, a waltz of celestial bodies suddenly interrupted by a rogue dancer. Deagan’s brow furrowed. This wasn't just unusual; it was alarming.
