Gage and Bowen, gauges love interest, Hope, Bowen’s girlfriend Lyra, the mysterious boy Keal, and the seasoned warrior Roric. Along the way, Gage’s feelings, for Hope grows and grows, until he finally seeks council with his brother and Lyra for advice. towards the end of the journey, Hope starts showing signs that she might feel the same way, and Keal starts acting a little suspicious. They face off against the goblin ambush and while they are weakened, Keal kills Roric, and Keal reveals that he has had a irresistible urge for vengeance ever since Roric failed to protect him and his family from a dragon attack. They fight and Bowen manages to kill him. They arrive at the dragons den and face off against the beast. With a little teamwork from Gage and Hope, the dragon is defeated. Gage confesses his feelings to her and she admits she feels the same way, and then they kiss. This is a world without magic. The chapters will not be longer than 1500 words, and keep the story moving, don’t just repeat the same scene over and over in each chapter.
