Void’s form, once a terrifying spectacle of cosmic horror, now lay in ruins. His wings, vast expanses of shattered glass and writhing void-tendrils, were gone. His limbs, once fractal expressions of pure chaos, were twisted and broken. Only his core remained, a pulsing, exposed heart of darkness, flickering like a dying ember. He coughed, a rasping sound that seemed to scrape against the very fabric of reality.
“You… can’t kill me,” he wheezed, his voice a shadow of its former booming fury. Each word was a struggle, a desperate clinging to existence. “I’ll find another host. Another planet. This… is just a setback.”
Shift stood over him, a titan forged in the crucible of battle. His armor, once sleek and black, was now a tapestry of layered energy, glowing with an ethereal blue light that seemed to hum with the echoes of countless realities.
