Chapter 13
Echo's Choice
Echo struggles with its dual nature, tempted by the Void's power but bound by its connection to Shift. A critical decision must be made that will affect the symbiote's future and Shift's power.

Its form bubbled and reformed, dark geometry twisting into impossible shapes, its wings a jagged mosaic of shattered glass and grasping void-tendrils. "That's… unexpected."
The Void’s true nature began to unfurl, a horrifying unfurling that dwarfed the monstrous visage it had worn before. It was a chrysalis cracking open, revealing not a fragile pupa, but a core of pure, incandescent void, surrounded by limbs that defied earthly physics. It was a cosmic abomination, a hunger given form.
