There is a man. In a jam jar. The man is having an existential crisis. He doesn't know he is having an existential crisis. He doesn't know why he is in the jam jar. There is no jam jar. Two wrongs don't make a right. And on the left arm is something sinister. The man can not see it. You can not see the man. You can not see the jam jar. There is no jam jar. The man waits. Time waits. We pause.
Table of contents
- 1The Glass PrisonA man awakens in a confined, transparent space, perceiving it as a jam jar. He feels a peculiar unease, a sense of being trapped without understanding why. His surroundings are smooth, curved, and limiting.
- 2Echoes of NothingThe man experiences a void where memories should be. He questions his existence and his surroundings, but logic offers no answers. A growing sense of dread begins to permeate his awareness.
- 3The Unseen MarkA subtle, chilling sensation develops on the man's left arm. He cannot see it, but he feels a foreign presence, a creeping coldness. It is a sinister addition to his already disorienting reality.
- 4Cracks in the SealThe man's perception of the jam jar begins to waver. He notices inconsistencies, moments where the glass seems to disappear or warp. The absolute certainty of his prison starts to fracture.
- 5The AbsenceHe realizes the jam jar is not truly there. The absence of the jar becomes the central mystery, more perplexing than its perceived presence. The 'two wrongs' of his situation offer no comfort.
- 6The Weight of KnowingConfronted by the illusion and the sinister presence, the man faces his existential crisis. The unseen entity on his arm becomes a tangible threat as time, and his consciousness, hang in the balance.

- Vampire bride
Midnight on my window Cold breath on the glass Something moves in silence A shadow in the grass Pale face in the dark Sharp teeth in the moon You smell me from a mile And now you're coming so I try to turn and run But my legs won't go I hear your hungry steps Slow, then slow, then slow Your eyes lock on mine And the room goes still One glance and I'm yours Against my will Vampire bride, vampire bride You took my name tonight Vampire bride, vampire bride Bite me and hold me tight (hold me tight) I was flesh, now I'm fire You made your dark desire Vampire bride, vampire bride I'm yours tonight Your hand is ice and velvet Your kiss is cold and red The world spins out beneath me As I lean back in your bed I felt the sting, the rushing The fever in my veins Now I hear my heartbeat Like thunder in chains I try to say my name But it breaks apart You pull me deeper in With a blackened heart The mirror starts to fade My skin turns white You smile like you knew I'd join the night Vampire bride, vampire bride You took my name tonight Vampire bride, vampire bride Bite me and hold me tight (hold me tight) I was flesh, now I'm fire You made your dark desire Vampire bride, vampire bride I'm yours tonigh Now I walk with you Through the borrowed dark No more prey, no more fear Only teeth and sparks If I call your name Will you call me yours? Close the door, lock the world Let the hunger roar Vampire bride, vampire bride You took my name tonight Vampire bride, vampire bride Bite me and hold me tight (hold me tight) I was flesh, now I'm fire You made your dark desire Vampire bride, vampire bride I'm yours tonight
- The factory beneath the floor
The Factory Beneath the Floor • 2 CHAPTER ONE THE ROAD WHERE THE WORLD ENDS The water had been rising for three days. It had swallowed the fields first. Then the old county road. Then the abandoned gas station at the edge of town. By the fourth night, the only road leading toward Moon Industrial Works had become a narrow strip of cracked asphalt surrounded by dark, churning water. Alexander Moon drove slowly through the storm. Rain hammered the roof of his car so hard that it sounded like thousands of fingers tapping against the metal. The windshield wipers moved back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. They were barely winning their battle against the rain. Alexander leaned closer to the windshield. The headlights illuminated only a few feet ahead. Beyond that was darkness. He could barely see the road. He should have turned around. Every sensible part of him told him to turn around. But Alexander had spent the last three months searching for answers, and every answer had led him to the same place. The factory. Moon Industrial Works. A place his family refused to discuss.
