The air in the co-working space buzzed with the frantic energy of a thousand notifications. Laptops hummed, keyboards clacked like a digital rainstorm, and the scent of overpriced coffee hung heavy. Chinedu, however, sat at his designated spot, his Nokia 3310 resting serenely on the smooth surface of the polished oak table. It was a lone island of calm in a sea of glowing screens and furrowed brows. Amina, across from him, was a whirlwind of activity, her fingers flying across her sleek tablet, her brow furrowed in concentration as she navigated a dizzying array of analytics.
“Chinedu, are you even listening?” Amina’s voice, usually laced with a playful exasperation, was tinged with genuine concern. “This campaign is going to crash and burn if we don’t get the ad spend right. We need to target the demographic that’s seeing our TikToks, and that means… well, that means you need to be *on* TikTok.”
Chinedu offered his signature, slow blink. “Amina, my dear, my… *presence* on TikTok is precisely what makes me unique.” He tapped his Nokia. “This is my platform. My authentic voice. People are tired of curated perfection. They crave… grit. Substance. The kind of substance that can survive a fall from the third floor.”
