The forest floor, once a tapestry of vibrant greens and earthy browns, now lay muted, a shroud of pale decay clinging to every leaf and fallen branch. It was a sickness, a creeping malaise that had begun subtly, a whisper on the wind, and had now grown into a suffocating silence. Even the birds seemed to have forgotten their songs, their absence a hollow ache in the air. I, Anya, SkyEyes, felt it deep within my bones, a disquiet that mirrored the land’s own suffering. My senses, honed by countless hunts, now registered the wrongness of it all, the subtle imbalance that spoke of a deeper wound. The scent of pine was tinged with something acrid, the rustle of leaves a brittle, unnatural sound.

The ancestors whisper of a cure, a path forgotten, a journey only the chosen and the keen-eyed can undertake.” Her gaze then shifted to me, a silent acknowledgment of my own role. “SkyEyes, your sight is sharp, your heart is true. Thunder Cloud, your spirit is open to the whispers of the unseen. You must go. You must find what has been lost.”
