the dodo* the dodos are an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of mauritius in the indian ocean.The dodo bird went extinct by around1690 ,less than 100 after it was first discovered by dutch sailors in 1598.In the following years,the bird was humted by sailors and invasive species,while its habitat was beging destroyed.
