The morning air, usually a crisp promise of a new day, felt a little bit… sticky. Jhon, usually a creature of habit and the proud owner of a car that purred like a contented kitten (when it wasn’t staging dramatic, engine-screaming protests), found himself staring at a stubbornly silent beast.
