Bob confesses the map belonged to his eccentric grandfather. Jhon, intrigued by the adventure and Bob's company, agrees to join the quest, a thrill bubbling up.

Jhon’s fingers, usually so adept at coaxing life from reluctant engines, fiddled uselessly with the ignition. It was a sound he’d come to know intimately over the past few weeks – a pathetic whirring followed by a disheartening click. His ancient car, affectionately nicknamed ‘The Rusty Rocket’ (though it had never rocketed anywhere in its life), had finally given up the ghost. A sigh, heavy with the weight of predictable Mondays, escaped his lips. This was precisely the sort of soul-crushing predictability he’d been yearning to escape.

“Right then, Rusty,” he muttered, patting the dashboard with a resignation that bordered on theatrical. “Looks like it’s the bus for you, old friend.”

The bus stop, a lonely sentinel on the corner, greeted him with its usual motley crew of early risers and late sleepers. He shuffled towards the bench, the damp morning air clinging to him like a second skin. He slumped down, pulling his worn jacket tighter, and watched as the hulking yellow behemoth lumbered into view. As he paid his fare, a familiar voice, a melody that always sent a little flutter through his chest, called out.
