Chapter 8: The Garden of Remembered Things

Elias, Anya, and Lena follow Vesper into the golden city within the Unmaker's heart, where they learn to anchor its healing by sharing their own memories. As the Unmaker begins to mend, a new threat emerges from the sky-crack—a being called the Void-Eater, which feeds on healed worlds. The trio must decide whether to stay or return to the physical realm to face it, ending with Elias vowing to protect their new home.

The field of wildflowers stretched endlessly, each bloom pulsing with a soft inner light that matched the rhythm of the Unmaker's heart. Elias kept his eyes fixed on the crack in the sky—a hairline fracture in the perfect blue, dark as the space between stars. He said nothing to Anya or Lena, not yet.
