Anya, Lena, and Elias race to save Lyra from the Maker's prison. Lyra communicates from within, directing them to find the first gatekeeper's heart buried beneath the seed-tree. They retrieve it with the bartender's help and return to the sealed door. Using the heart, they enter the Maker's core, where Lyra holds the darkness at bay. Anya offers the heart to heal the Maker, but the master's remnants within the Maker fight back, threatening to tear everything apart.
The wooden door slammed shut, and the darkness swallowed the light. Lyra's voice echoed, then faded, leaving only the hollow sound of the Maker's laughter.
Anya threw herself at the door. Her palms hit cold stone—no wood, no warmth, just a wall that hadn't been there a second ago. "Lyra!"
Her scream bounced off the invisible ceiling. Lena's shield flared, a burst of raw energy that cracked the floor but did nothing to the stone. She hit it again, and again, her breath ragged, her eyes wild.
