Chapter 24
Chapter 24: The Mirror's Edge
Anya, Elias, and Lena follow Anya's vision to a dimension where a piece of the master has taken Anya's form. The piece exploits Anya's deepest fear of being a burden, forcing her to confront the part of herself she hides. With Lena and Elias's support, Anya reaches the piece with empathy and absorbs it into a third stone. The seed then reveals the final piece is locked in Elias's forgotten past.

Lena held the second stone, its warm orange light pulsing like a heartbeat. Elias watched Anya, his brow furrowed.
"It's wearing my face," Anya repeated, her voice barely a whisper. "The piece… it's hiding in something that looks like me."
"Like a mirror," Lena said, pocketing the stone. "Or a reflection."
