THE GUARDIAN'S RETURNS
...its form solid and calm, though its ember eyes held a weight of worry that mirrored the Lord of Birds’ own.
“The balance is shifting,” the Guardian of Shadows rumbled, its voice carrying across the clearing without stirring the air. “Something has awakened deep within Xindewula – something that was locked away long before we were given our duty as guardians. It feeds on doubt and division, and it threatens to unravel everything Ntila gave his life to build.”
The Lord of Birds spread its wings, and this time, when it spoke, its voice was clear as a bell through the forest: “The mountain’s core is stirring. We have held it at bay with the crystal’s power, but it grows stronger with each passing day. The bond Ntila forged is strong – but it needs help to hold.”
