Realizing direct confrontation is futile, Phineas and Brenda frantically search for a way to disable Toastie. They scour old manuals and Phineas's chaotic notes, hoping for a clue to the toaster's Achilles' heel.
Dr. Phineas Piffle, a man whose brilliance was outshone only by the sheer volume of smoke his experiments tended to produce, paced the laboratory floor.
