She was the dragon slayer, the woman whose name was synonymous with the swift, brutal end of creatures like him. She was clad in practical, dark leather, worn smooth by countless journeys and battles, a stark contrast to the flowing silks and elaborate robes of the court that surrounded them. Her posture was one of coiled readiness, her gaze sharp and unwavering, fixing upon the dragon with an intensity that felt like a physical blow.
