Agnes had called it a weaver of dreams, and now I felt its threads pulling me, not into sleep, but into a waking reverie.

I sat by the window, the afternoon sun a warm, golden river spilling across the worn wooden floor. Outside, the town hummed its usual quiet tune – the distant clatter of a milk cart, the soft sigh of wind through the ancient oak trees, the occasional chirping of sparrows. But within the confines of my small cottage, a different symphony was unfolding, one composed of ancient verses and the rising tide of my own forgotten feelings.
