Eleanor sat on a plush, worn armchair, her hands clasped tightly in her lap, the weight of the past few weeks pressing down on her.
Ms. Albright, with her kind eyes and a smile that crinkled at the corners, sat behind her cluttered desk, a steaming mug of tea warming her hands.
