The battlefield of the spirit is not a place for the unprepared, nor for the ill-equipped. We’ve spoken of the unseen conflict, the insidious nature of our adversaries—Satan, the world system, and the stubborn inclinations of our own flesh. We’ve begun to understand their tactics, their insidious whispers and alluring promises designed to pull us away from the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father. But knowing the enemy is only half the battle. The other, far more crucial, half is knowing how to stand firm, how to engage with divine strategy. And that, dear friends, begins with the foundational piece of our spiritual armor: the belt of truth.
