Chapter 13
The Tale of the Pink Fox
Lucy begins sharing her story, focusing on Kelly's gentle nature and the misunderstanding surrounding its abilities. She uses her observations, not sensationalism, to paint a new picture.

"Hello everyone," I began, my voice a little shaky at first, but gaining strength with each word. "You’ve heard the news. You’ve heard about Kelly. The reporter called it a new animal, a creature with pink fur, like a fox, and said it was dangerous." I paused, letting the familiar fear wash over their faces. "And yes, Kelly *is* new. And yes, Kelly *is* pink and beautiful. But dangerous? That’s where the story got twisted."
