"Ummmmmm, ummmm, clothes and food," Charlie puppy finally managed, his brow furrowed in concentration. He looked at his friends, hoping his answer was good enough.

Miss Lily smiled encouragingly. "That's a great start, Charlie! But can anyone be a little more specific? What kind of food do you think cavemen might have eaten? And what do you imagine their clothes were made of?"

Teddy, ever the thoughtful one, piped up, "Well, if they were hunting, they would have eaten meat, right? Like the animals they hunted. Maybe they roasted it over a fire." She pictured the cave paintings they had glimpsed earlier, showing figures around what looked like flames.
